At the same time, I continued with my studies and graduated from the University of Auckland with a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (1st Class) in 2012.
Since then I worked as a Clinical Psychologist for Auckland Health Boards in a variety of settings including Child/ Adolescent/Family outpatient and Older Adult outpatient community mental health; and for Oranga Tamariki providing supervision to Social Workers, developing treatment plans for children and adolescents with high and complex needs, guidance to caregivers , liaison and consultation to associated service providers, and individual therapy with children and young people who had experienced traumatic events.
I have been a specialist court report writer and expert witness for the Family Court since 2015 and a registered ACC Sensitive Claims assessor and treatment provider. I have also completed my advanced training in Couples’ Therapy based on the Developmental Model of Bader Pearson Couple Therapy.
In 2016 I established a private practice providing psychological services for individuals, couples and families with a variety of mental health, relationship and personal struggles.
